MR. GARY L. SPRINGER

Gary Lloyd Springer, known by his fishing friends as "Hayseed," passed away on May 10, 2008. He was 63.

Gary was born on Aug. 23, 1944, in Winnemucca to Shirley Olsen Springer Rezek and Harry Lloyd Springer.

Gary graduated from Reno High School in 1962. He was a rancher, a deep sea fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed the great outdoors and achieved grandiose achievements for a man confined to a wheelchair. He hunted big game and achieved great successes in harvesting two bull elk, one caribou and one antelope.

Gary is survived by his loving mother, Shirley Rezek; wife, Marsha, sons, John, Gary, {Marilyn, three grandchildren, tCather-ine, Cassie and Christopher Springer,) and daughters, Mandy and Lyssa, brother, Edward Rezek, (Pam), sisters: Mona Peterson (Steve) and Debra Skivington (Joe) and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.

Gary will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and wonderful sense of humor.

Services were held at the Lovelock Funeral Home (655 llth St. Lovelock, NV 89419) at 2 p.m. on May 15, 2008, with internment following at the Big Meadow Cemetery. A Luncheon followed at the Catholic Hall on Cornell Avenue.

Gary did not like cut flowers, so if you wish, living rose bushes may be donated to his sister. Debra, who is dedicating a rose garden and shrine to Gary at her residence in Reno. (775-972-1399.)
