MR. THOMAS J. GILLESPIE

Thomas J. Gillespie passed away at the Pershing County Nursing Home in Lovelock on Dec. 26, 2007.

Thomas was born on Jan. 16, 1922, in Tonopah, to Thomas M. and Anne Maude Gillespie. They moved to Getchell, then Winnemucca. He worked for City Electric, CB Brown Co. for many years and Kracaw Farms until he retired.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Gillespie of Los Angeles, Calif. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Ella Gillespie, sons Thomas Gillespie, Bob and wife Shawna Gillespie of Winnemucca. Daughters Ruth and husband Don Cook of Placerville, Calif., Judy and husband Mike Black of Winnemucca. Three grandsons Mike Stump, Placerville, Calif., Thomas Gillespie of Winnemucca, Scott Gillespie of Reno and two great grandsons.

He was a wonderful father and grandfather. He loved going hunting, fishing. ATVing and any other sports his family was involved in. All of his family will miss him very much. All arrangements are under the direction of the Lovelock Funeral Home.

He will be cremated and there will be no services, at his request.

MRS. MARGARET M. GREENE

Margaret Mary Greene, 71, of Unionville passed away on Jan. 20, 2008, in Winnemucca. She is survived by her loving children: Mike Greene, Diane Ledesma, Gerald Greene, Brian Greene and Darrell Greene, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Noel, She worked at Burns Brothers for many years and will be missed by all who new her. A memorial Mass was held Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Winnemucca.
