I am looking for information on Christopher Beazer who lived in
Chautauqua County from about 1880 until moving to Washington State in
the early 1900's. He was my great grandfather. I have quite a bit
of information on him, including Civil War service but am attempting
to trace his history prior to Civil War. He was raised by a family
in Ohio but I do not know their name. If there are any descendants
of the Beazer family still in Chautauqua County who might have some
information on Christopher Beazer I would like to get in touch with
them.

These are my people … be glad to share what I have.
LISTER … Married name … family moved to Chautauqua Co KS 17 Feb 1884.
DOTY … maiden name arrived 17 Feb 1884.
DOTY … Minerva’s parents came some time after 1900 census.
The parents of Minerva Doty Lister, James D. Doty and Betsey Thompson Doty, died in 1913 & 1911 and are buried in Cedar Vale Cemetery.
Minerva Doty’s lineage goes back to Pilgrim Edward Doty who arrived in America on THE MAYFLOWER.
Minerva (Doty) Lister and husband William Wilbert Lister are buried in the Cedar Vale Cemetery.
Probably published in the Cedar Vale Messenger between 1974 and 1976, I have an article about LISTER REUNION SUNDAY July 25 (no year), where my mother, Mrs. Delphos Tombaugh, along with 81 others, attended this reunion celebrating the 1st 04 Jul 1884 picnic near LEEDS, KS.
William Wilbert Lister was in the CIVIL WAR BETWEEN 11 Feb 1864 and 22 Jul 1865 Co F41 transferred to Co G53 out of Illinois Volunteer Infantry. William attended a Civil War Veterans Reunion held in 1904 a Cloverdale, Chautauqua Co, KS of which I have a picture in our “The LISTERS” book.
I have much genealogy on the LISTER and the DOTY families and will be glad to share ….
