While the City Clerk once recorded death for Chautauqua county citizens the records available were incomplete and in poor condition. Posted here is a list of documents compiled by County personnel from records located in the office of the Register of Deeds and should be considered as an addendum to other death records posted. These documents are in the miscellaneous books and concern property owners and their heirs.
