The Mooney Cemetery is located in Little Caney Township in the SW1/4 S25 - T34 - R12 and is on property owned by John Mooney. From U. S. highway 166 2 miles east of Niotaze go south 1 1/2 miles on County Road #27. The coordinates are 37.057222N and 096.050778, it is on a wooded hill about 1/4 mile off the road. It is a neglected cemetery with brush and weeds throughout. The stones found were all in a row south to north next to the west fence. It was read in 1985 by Maxine Dick and read again and photographed by Don Tharp in October 2006.

There were other graves evidenced by field stone markers, but much of the cemetery was 
covered with weeds and brush to thick to distinguish all.
