Mr. Guy gives the following instructions to find a particular tombstone in the Greenwood cemetery.

As I read the tombstones and markers in this cemetery I made my own map and numbering system, which is really very simple. As you look at my map you will notice the left edge of the map is the public street or road that runs along the north side of the cemetery. There are three entry ways; the first being at the bottom left of my map, the NW corner of the cemetery. The third being the “main gate” in the left middle of the map.

I used the cemetery roads (mostly) for the boundaries of each section (A, B, C, etc.). Secondly, I numbered the rows in each section starting closest to the city or generally west direction; hence my number A—22, meaning Section A and row 22; 22 rows east from the west edge of the section.

The sections that do not apply by the above principles are Sections D, H, L, Q and U. There are no roads leading into these sections, but I put imaginary roads; hence the numbers as if the roads extended into these sections.
